Football Saturdays are such a tradition out here in the midwest. Blasting Kesha at 7am, front lawns covered in red cups, projectile vomits... well, you know the drill. While I may not be the biggest football fan, I love traditions, school spirit and our team colors. (maize & blue) So even if I plan on sitting at my desk reading about policy issues, listening to Vampire Weekend, and sipping on a hot latte- I'll be checking the scores online and wearing my heart on my sleeves (& feet). Wear maize, go blue!
